New on my blog today I am using Acetate/Window Sheets in three ways. The sheets come in packs of two, 12″ x 12″, and can be used in many more ways than today’s demonstration.
The first card has two names, Floating Strips or Floating Circle. This is great for using up cardstock and patterned paper. My card bases leave me with 1/4″ strips which are perfect for this card. Simply glue strip to the acetate/window sheet, then die cut your shape; it doesn’t have to be a circle! Adhere to your card front using dimensionals.
My second card has a section of card removed and replaced with the acetate.
My final card for this video is a Shaker Card. I’ve used the Hexagon Punch to punch out a window, then glued a piece of acetate/window sheet to the back. Using strips of foam I’ve lifted the card front from the base allowing space for the sequins to shake.
