Beautiful Balloons Pop & Twist Shaker Card

New on the blog today is this fun Beautiful Balloons Pop & Twist Shaker Card!

The dies from the Beautiful Balloons Suite is a great way to combine a shaker card with a fun fancy fold and was ideal for my Great Niece’s first birthday. The characters from Zoo Crew fit perfectly into the larger balloon die adding a real cuteness to this special card.

This is a two in one card with easy to follow instructions for making a Shaker card, a Pop & Twist card or you can combine the two as I have. This is a real WOW card with endless possibilities making it great for special occasions.

Measurements for main structure (Imperial)
Cardstock – Base – 11 1/2″ x 4″ Scored at 5 3/4″
Panel Strip – 10″ x 3 1/2″ Scored at 2 1/2″, 5″, 7 1/2″
Pop/Twist mechanism – 8″ x 3 1/2″ Scored on short side at 1 3/4″
Using a pencil, lightly mark on each long edge at 2 1/4″ & 5 3/4″
Score diagonally from 2 1/4″ mark across to 5 3/4″, repeat.

Measurements for main structure (Metric)
Cardstock – Base – 29cm x 10cm Scored at 14.6cm
Panel Strip – 25.4cm x 8.9cm Scored at 6.3cm, 12.7cm, 19cm
Pop/Twist mechanism – 20cm x 8.9cm Scored on short side at 4.4cm
Using a pencil, lightly mark on each edge at 5.7cm & 14.6cm
Score diagonally from 5.7cm mark across to 14.6cm, repeat.

Then you can add cardstock layers and patterned paper to suit your card.
