Today I’m using one of the fabulous kits available online from Stampin’ Up! If you haven’t seen the Kits Collection do check it out on my blog, www.inkspiredcrafts.co.uk.
Card making is great fun, it’s something you can do alone, with friends or family, it’s therapeutic and, like many crafts, it is good for your mental well being!
Two facts you may not realise:
1 – you don’t need loads of stuff to make pretty cards
2 – they don’t have to be complicated
Whether you are just starting out or an experienced card maker, kits have their place in your crafting.
why kits are great:
1 – they contain everything you need (apart from scissors)!
2 – have pre-cut sentiments (non stamping kits)
3 – the instructions are easy to follow BUT you can also use your own design skills if you wish.
4 – they come in compact boxes ideal for travelling; they weigh very little so you could easily pack one in your suitcase!
5 – if you are short of space they are perfect for you!
6 – they make fantastic presents 🙂
7 – lost your mojo? Kits will help you find it again!
8 – great for crafting with friends.
9 – the stamping kits have ink spots and stamp sets you can use again and again!
10 – Don’t have much time but want a handmade card – grab a kit.
11 – perfect for children too!
12 – Not just card kits
13 – Affordable!
The non stamping Kits are just £17 and generally make 8 or 9 cards per kit. That equates to £2.12 or £1.88 per card – cheaper than shop bought, more personal and fun to make! Stamping kits still work out less than £2.50 a card and you have products you can use again and again.

Happy crafting!
