New on my blog today is this fun Stadium Wave Card. I’ve seen this style of card made using butterflies, bees and flowers, which all look really beautiful. However, I decided to try the Take to the Sky Suite for a masculine card. The finished card turned out better than I hoped.
For my Live I embraced Christmas, making my first Christmas card of 2024! When I design cards I always have an idea of my end goal. Thankfully it normally works out OK, but designing a card on a Live that I’ve not made before is a bit risky. The patterned paper and stamp & die bundle are from last year, good news though, they carried over and are still current and available!
Here’s my video tutorial of the Stadium Wave card:
Cutting list
Card base – 8 x 5-3/4″ Scored at 4″ (20.3 x 14.6cm scored at 10.2cm)
Patterned Paper – 3-3/4 x 5-1/2″ 3 off (9.6 x 14cm)
Basic White Layer for writing on.
Patterned Paper or cardstock – 3/4 x 8″ scored at 1/2, 1-1/4, 2, & 5″ (1.9 x 20.3cm scored at 1.2, 3.1, 5 & 12.6cm) (for the mechanism, as below).
There are so many options for this card and it is far easier to make than it looks.
Happy stamping!
