For today’s Facebook Live I went back to basics with some simple card making using patterned paper, cardstock and ink. As a Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrator, I often design more complicated cards and 3D items but it is also important to make simple cards. Simple card making can be just as fun no matter how experienced you are; sometimes we just need one quickly. For crafters just starting out on their card making journey, this is a great place to start. You don’t need lots of equipment, products or space!
Throughout August Stampin’ Up! has a 15% discount on selected patterned papers from the Annual Catalogue. There are so many gorgeous papers to choose from suiting everyone’s taste.
Templates are found on page 22 of the Annual Catalogue
Unfortunately, I didn’t plan which patterned paper to use in advance so I apologise for the waffly bit!
As you can see, I’ve used the templates as an idea and changed some elements.
items used:
Cardstock – comes in multi coloured packs as well an individual colours but Basic White (159228) is a good starting point.
Patterned Paper – I’ve used Full of Life (163357), Lily Pond Lane (163342) and Brights (163775).
Simply Said stamp set (163756)
Rhinestone Basic Jewels (144220)
