Hello!
As we fast approach the anniversary of the first lockdown last March, I’ve looked back on 2020 and put it down as the most annus horribilis. The vaccine roll out this year has been amazing and I’m sure we all hope life will eventually get back to some sort of normal. As a carer for my son, I have been lucky enough to have my first dose and my second is booked for mid May.
In October I had Carpel Tunnel Decompression on my right wrist and am on the consultant’s urgent list for my left to be done. Unfortunately the lockdown this year has delayed my operation but they are now hopeful it will take place within the next month. Recovery of my right hand hasn’t been straight forward as I developed CRPS and it appears I’ve now also got this in my left hand. This will mean recovery is again slower than I would like and may affect the re-start of workshops and card classes.
As I’m sure you will realise, the Stay at Home message running until at least the 29th March means I’ve had to cancel the March workshop. So, the earliest possible date for workshops to resume is April but I will confirm this nearer the time dependent on restrictions and my operation. Here are the dates and details:

At this time I assume it will still be in the main hall with social distancing in place, giving 8 tables including mine.
With the children returning to school I am looking forward to having the use of the conservatory back so I can film some demonstrations of products and possibly go Live in my Facebook group. I have some really great products to show you from the Jan – June mini catalogue as well as some fancy fold cards and 3D items, I just need to decide where to start!
I plan to hold card classes again in the future when restrictions allow. At this time I am thinking of smaller groups but instead of having two time slots there would be three or four. Even if all restrictions are lifted on June 21st I think it will take some time to adjust to “normal” life again so for people to feel comfortable there will be space, ventilation and hand sanitiser available. More information to follow!
In May we will be seeing the launch of Stampin Up!s new annual catalogue but there is still time to enjoy the current one. If you don’t have a copy and would like one let me know, I can post it out to you. There will be a retired list released towards the end of March, the 2019-21 In Colours will be retiring so if you have a favourite make sure you order cardstock and/or ink refills before it is too late! I will post the retirement list on Facebook as soon as it is released.
In July we will see the launch of the new mini catalogue which will run until December and will include the new Christmas products. In June there will be a retired list for the Jan – June catalogue; again if you would like a copy let me know and I will post it to you.
Take care
Mel xx
